Water, Texas Film Festival

Join us for the 10th annual Water, Texas Film Festival!

Water, Texas is a concept, an idea, it’s even a place if you want it to be. It’s anywhere you can think of in the Lone Star State where water matters. Water, Texas is everywhere. From the Davis Mountains to Matagorda Bay, we know that water is the lifeblood of Texas. It supports our landscapes, our lifestyle and our economy. Because everything we love about Texas is rooted in our water, we want to hear your water stories. What does water mean to you?

In addition to showcasing the winning films, the 10th Annual Water Texas, Film Festival will feature a preview of the upcoming documentary Life on the Neches River created by Ellen Temple and Curtis Craven with work by Ron Kabele and Thad Sitton. The film gives viewers of all ages the opportunity to know and to celebrate the hidden beauty and crucial environmental value of the Neches with people who live on it, enjoy, study, and preserve it, and who are as diverse as the plants and wildlife that also call it home. Following the special look at the film, the creators will take the stage for a panel discussion on the creation of, and stories behind, the documentary.Visit https://www.watertexasfilms.org/ for more information.
