Liz Fazio Hale
Liz Fazio Hale is currently the CEO/General Manager for the Gulf Coast Authority, assisting in the executive management and strategic planning for the operations of five wastewater treatment facilities for a political subdivision of the state of Texas with statewide authority. Liz also serves as a resource on the development and planning of water resources.
Liz began her career at the Texas Legislature. With over 10 years' experience in state government, she played an instrumental leadership role in the development of Proposition 6 and House Bill 4 (2013) to finance over $27 billion in water development and conservation projects over the next 50 years. She has held positions in the Committees on Natural Resources, Special Purpose Districts, Civil Procedures, Pensions & Investments, and Calendars. She also contributed to efforts in the House of Representatives for the State of Colorado.
Liz is a dual-degree graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Government and a B.S. in Communications. She holds her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She is a licensed attorney in Colorado and Washington, D.C.
